TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SURCIN PLANT

⦁ Facility area: 5.500m².
⦁ Automated production line for insulating glass units of a world-famous Austrian company LISEC.
⦁ Production capacities of 800 units (~800 m²) in an eight-hour shift.
⦁ All types of glass processing (grinding, drilling, sandblasting, faceting, lamination, tempering, etc.).

The SAVABIEN company processes all types of single-layered glass and produces all types of thermal packages (double-layered, triple-layered). We use and apply all types of strips processed on an automatic bending machine (aluminum, PVC strips with enhanced thermal insulation, the so called warm edge…).

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SURCIN PLANT

On the automatic line for the thermal insulating glass production, we can manufacture insulated glazing ranging from 185x350mm to 4500x2700mm.

By means of lamination we produce multilayered laminated glass of various composition and thickness with the maximum size of 1900x2800mm.

We manufacture all types of armored, multilayered glass coated with anti-vandal foil (eg. for shop windows). The level of 100 micron anti-vandal foil protection is P7B i.e. BS EN356 P8B or more than 70 axe strikes before opening of foil and glass. In addition, we produce all types of facade glass with or without over hangers and hold the Dow Corning certificate for structural “sealing” of glass panel.

GLASS PLANT

The production technology and the entire production process are conceived in a way that a man has no impact on the quality of an end product. High level of automation is a great benefit in case of specific glass coatings, as such glass surface is extremely sensitive to touch, so that during manual handling damage may well occur.

THE DESCRIPTION OF THERMAL PACKAGE

Thermal insulating package, the so called thermal package or thermal, is a package containing two or three single-layered glass of various thickness and features, which are separated by strips from each. The space between them is filled with air or gas so as to reduce heat flow.

By using various, carefully selected materials, it is possible to lower thermal conductivity (Uw) of a finite element such as a window by 0,1-0,3 W/m2K if “warm edge” strips are used instead of conventional aluminum strips.

SAVABIEN insulated glass is filled with argon or krypton and bound together in the press, so that there is no visible strip edge “seal”, which is possible with the help of the state-of-the-art technology, which allows for enhanced gas retention within an insulated glass unit.

SAVABIEN STANDARD THERMAL PACKAGE

Our standard product consists of:
4mm standard Float glass + 16mm aluminum strip Argon 90% + 4mm low emission glass.
This thermal package has thermal conductivity of Ug=1,1 W/m2K.

SAVABIEN TRIPLE-LAYERED PACKAGE

Triple-layered standard package:
4mm low emission glass (film position 2) + 15mm aluminum strip Argon 90% + 4mm standard Float glass + 15mm aluminum strip Argon 90% + 4mm low emission glass (film position 5).
This thermal package has thermal conductivity of Ug=0,6W/m2K.

CERTIFICATES

We use and apply a wide range of glass by the world’s renowned producers. We hold an IFT Rosenheim certificate on fulfilling the DIN EN 1279-2 and DIN EN 1279-3 norms in the production of thermal packages.

We hold certificates compliant with the strictest CEKAL norms, with which we have further ensured and confirmed the production of thermal insulating package for the most demanding world markets using high-quality materials to be found on their approved materials list for use.
